Prior to opening Budai, Hsia has worked in kitchens in Taiwan, Washington D.C. and New York City, as well as Chinese restaurants here in Albuquerque. Elsa Fang is the general manager and co-owner of Budai Gourmet Chinese. She comes from a generation of restaurateurs and has over 20 years of restaurant management experience.
